Our clients Affinity Schemes sector operates across all states and are currently seeking a dynamic Account Manager in Sydney to vigorously promote their products and services and help service an existing portfolio of business.
Reporting to the General Manager of Affinity Schemes, your role will be to manage the local team of three brokers, existing accounts and local client relationships.  There is also very considerable emphasis on the creation of new business and cross selling opportunities with specific focus on key schemes.
The successful applicant will provide a consistently high level of service to our existing clients, recognise any new business opportunities and assist with their development and identify any market trends and work closely with the team to establish appropriate action.  You will also have the opportunity to be involved in national projects around Australia.
In order to be considered for this role the successful applicant will have:-
  • Tier 1 Compliance (Insurance Broking) and ideally working towards achieving their Diploma Financial Services (Insurance Broking) and maintenance of QPIB status through NIBA or equivalent Senior Associate membership through ANZIIF.
  • At least 5 years combined experience in an Account Manager / Broking  role with sound insurance broking and Schemes experience;
  • A proven track record in the development of new business;
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills to create and maintain successful business relationships;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
