Located in the heart of Sydney CBD my client is a leading chartered accounting and business advisory services firm which supports the growth and success of fast growing and entrepreneurial small and medium sized businesses expanding across all industries by providing professional and proactive accounting services by highly experienced chartered accountants.
Working closely with the Tax Manager your duties will consist of but are not limited to:
- Senior Tax Accounting
- Mentoring and training junior staff
- Reports to the Tax Manager
- Deliver Compliance services
- Deliver key divisional strategies across the firm
- Managing a portfolio of clients from various industries
- Adhere to an industry code of ethics
- Prepare annual financial reports and tax returns across all entities
- CGT and general tax exemptions
- Research and complete sophisticated tax planning strategies
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years experience with a Charted Accounting firm
- You will have a High level of technical knowledge and skill regarding tax and accounting matters.
- Completed CA
- A good understanding of property trusts, GST grouping and inter entity transactions
- Strong English communication and written skills
- Business Services or Compliance background
